I'm trying to use a PXI-4462 board to digitize a signal using an external trigger. I'm starting with the example project Acq-ExtClk.prj. For some reason the string controls on the UI which are transformed into board / channel and trigger source selection drop lists do not update the control with the list selection. However, I can manually enter the selections, so I'm not worried about that for now.
The bigger problem is that when I use the string "/PXI-4492/PFI0" for the trigger source, the call to DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming throws an error stating that only "OnboardClock" can be used as a valid input. I can see on the front panel of the board that there is a connector labeled PFI0 and the hardware doc's say it's a trigger input, so why can't I use that as the trigger source?
