A month ago, I used a PXIe-1073 chassis with a PXIe-5170R oscilloscope. I controlled the devices from a PC with an MXI connector. Everything worked fine. I did not have an internet connection on the PC during the use and when it was shut down.
Today I turned on the system, and I found that the self-calibration of the scope is not possible though the self-test went well. I attached the screenshot of this failure. Unfortunately, this failure did not indicate where the problem was.
I also ran the Labview code, which controls the devices. It also failed, but I received an error, see the other attached screenshot.
After these failures, I did restart the PC, chassis in every possible order. I also unplugged and plugged the MXI cable. Nothing helped the situation.
The weird thing is that nobody touched the devices since the last use (in principle), and now all of a sudden fails to work, and I cannot tell where the problem is coming from.
Is it possible that the PXIe-5170R went off due to a severe hardware error? The device is about six years old, and it ran for more than 1000 hours.
How can I identify this error precisely? Is there a way to fix it?
I am happy to receive all your opinions!
