Abstract: Ever feel limited by your DAQ device? Maybe you ran out of onboard counters or tried to sample multiple channels at different rates only to find that you couldn’t. NI DAQ devices take advantage of NI ASICs such as the DAQ-STC3. With these ASICs, you can include many capabilities in a single device for a wide variety of applications. However, if you are having difficulty, you might consider FPGA-enabled DAQ devices.
