Abstract: Instrument Design Libraries (IDLs) provide a standard way to meet the common design challenges a user might encounter when developing an FPGA application. The IDLs, originally developed by the NI RF group that created the vector signal transceiver, have been adapted by the NI Modular Instruments group for use with high-performance FPGA devices. At this session, explore five use cases that extend the IDLs beyond RF and modular instruments to generally applicable lessons from which all FPGA devices can benefit.
