Abstract: From directional drilling to shale hydraulic fracturing processes, significant advances in oil well drilling technology have occurred in recent years. These advances have led to the invention and use of more industrial sensors and drilling tools in oil field drilling. At this session, learn how a newly visual studio automated test suite was developed for these diverse tools that included the following components: script designs, reusable test system configurations, DAQ, GPIB instrument measurements, and digital signal processing integrations. View demos of several emulation systems featuring high-speed NI analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog devices.
