Abstract: In-flight wireless service is an increasing focus for aircraft use. Certification of this service requires specialized testing to verify that devices used by passengers and crew don't interfere with flight-critical electronics. At this session, observe how you can use a portable distributed real-time RF transmitter system to screen any type of passenger aircraft for compliance with standard wireless services. This system supports FAA-published testing (including gate-to-gate requirements) to RTCA standards covering the majority of worldwide wireless formats, including Wi-Fi, Cellular, and Bluetooth. This single-person-portable system features the LabVIEW Real-Time Module and RF PXI modules.
