Abstract: A series of beam position monitors (BPMs) is being installed in the Front End Test Stand at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) as part of the 3 MeV medium energy beam transport (MEBT). The BPMs analyze 2 ms long, 60 mA beam pulses delivered to the MEBT by a 324 MHz radio frequency quadrupole. The down-mixed BPM signals are acquired and processed in a FlexRIO module. At this session, explore the development of the FlexRIO system and view the results of the initial performance studies.
