Abstract: Today’s hybrid/electric consumer vehicles and even heavy equipment like large mining trucks are driven by motors that can scale as large as 4 MW. Testing the power stages and control systems can introduce challenges in R&D validation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test, and even production line test. At this session, explore key test strategies and solutions using the NI platform. Learn about an inverter system power-level test that fully exercises the power electronics up to 3000 A, and see how new tools from NI easily integrate with high-fidelity motor models from ANSYS Maxwell.
