Hockey Puck Tracking with NI FlexRIO™
An air hockey table is setup with a camera and laser control system above. Users play air hockey and a PXI system using NI FlexRIO takes high-speed images of the table to track the puck and generate a projected path of the puck on the fly. The system then uses a laser to “draw” the projected path on the table and the current score on the moving puck. This is a very interactive demo for the customer and a fun application of Vision with FPGA.
