How to connect to the multi-million signals of PI from OsiSoft?

At our company, we use several pi-servers interconnected over the world. What is the best way to connect LabVIEW with Osisoft without reinventing the wheel? So pi-libraries seems the best option. What do you think? A PI server 2012 prerelease can be downloaded and installed at home. Operating until end 2012.

Have program a realtime simulator for powerplants written in C++.I translates the RT sim to NI components and software (Labview).

My rt pxi turbine simulator for simulating grid incidents was succesfully used in a nuclear plant in 2006.
