Abstract: The LabSocket system is a LabVIEW add-on tool that enables VIs to be easily accessed by a web browser. The desktop version of LabSocket has been modified to deliver this ease of use to NI Linux Real-Time applications on the CompactRIO platform. This version replaces LabSocket-RT, a limited-functionality version of the software for real-time targets that required the use of a VI modification tool. LabSocket software modifications include adding platform-specific logic to portions of the code using certain VI Server calls and temporary files. At this session, explore these modifications and the operation of the system on a cRIO-903x controller.
