Abstract: This session will explore the architecture, challenges and successes of a LabVIEW-based application developed to acquire and process force-deflection sensor data time-synchronized with video and sound from a hydraulic bumper crusher machine. This machine "crushes" two vehicle bumpers quasi-statically and the bumpers' force-deformation (stiffness) and video-sound of the two bumpers crushing each other is output for further mathematical modeling.
