Abstract: For over 10 years, PVI Systems has helped develop autosamplers for pharmaceutical applications. As chemistry and speed requirements have increased, machines have evolved from "soft real-time" control on a Windows PC to true real-time control with embedded systems like CompactRIO. At this session, learn about the challenges of migrating from a Windows-based system to CompactRIO, the benefits of using a true real-time control system, and the design decisions and selection criteria used to make this migration.
