Abstract: Test and line-configuration times for modern PCBs continue to rise while production cycle times (beat rate) need to decrease. As complex automotive PCBs evolve, especially with RF and radar-based assemblies, innovative technologies are changing the production test flow that can prevent the duplication of capital equipment to satisfy production volumes. At this session, examine methods and trade-offs to address long configuration times. Also review the benefits of standardized adapters for PXI-based test, and compare the pros and cons of off-board and automated inline test and programming.
