Abstract: Full-duplex radios can open new possibilities in high-traffic-demand situations with limited radio resources. Full-duplex radios transmit and receive on the same frequency at the same time. In real wireless environments, canceling interference is a critical barrier to implementing full-duplex radios. At this session, explore the challenges of interference and how researchers at Yonsei prototyped a real-time full-duplex system that achieves a staggering 1.9 times higher throughput than traditional half-duplex systems.
