Abstract: Discover solutions for quickly developing and validating new embedded control strategies using CompactRIO hardware for rapid control prototyping (RCP). Explore different workflows to understand the advantages of alternative methods and examine controls algorithm validation techniques, including pure simulation and controls model deployment to the hardware running the real plant. Also learn about tools and processes to help measure and calibrate the running controls model. The demonstrated RCP workflows using the LHP Rapid Controls Prototyping system show clear advantages for improving the effectiveness of engine control prototyping.
