Real-Time Signal Processing with the NI PXIe-5641R RIO IF Transceiver

Host sends raw MPEG file to the PXIe-5641R, which modulates it according to the DVB standard. This signal is received by and displayed on a television.

Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer:
Acquires RF spectrum and performs overlapping FFTs on the incoming data on PXIe-5641R FPGA. Compares result to a frequency mask, alerting the host when the mask is exceeded. Also displays spectral data on the host (but not every sample). In other words, the spectral mask comparison is completely real-time, while the display isn't.
