Abstract:To improve the availability and maintenance costs of plant assets, more assets are incorporating a condition monitoring system (CMS). The new more powerful and less expensive online CMSs can be networked, so the further use of mobile and offline monitoring devices needs to be reconsidered. With AREVA’s DIROM4i system, plant operators can monitor, diagnose, and manage their assets remotely. The cyclically and event-based recorded DIROM4i data (vibration, electrical, and process) is analyzed automatically and archived on a central plant data server, which is securely accessible via Internet over VPN. At this session, explore a DIROM4i application.
