Abstract: G Systems developed a PXI-based, dual-chassis test system using the LabVIEW Real-Time Module to control force/load and measure strain, deflection, and structural failure. System features include 160 channels of strain, 48 channels of force control, 16 channels of position/deflection, and 96 channels of general-purpose digital I/O. A custom-designed watchdog system monitors the system’s health and safety. At this session, G Systems offers real-world insight into multichassis synchronization using PXI Express to develop and implement a successful high-channel-count structural test system.
