TS10364: Affordable and Configurable Military GNSS Simulator

Speaker: Tyler Hohman (Talen-X Lead, Talen-X)

USRPs will revolutionize the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) industry because of their extraordinary flexibility, low cost, and ability to achieve rapid development cycles. At this session, learn how to use USRP hardware with a GNSS simulator to simultaneously simulate unencrypted and encrypted GNSS signals at a fraction of the cost of today’s industry standards. BroadSim is unique because it takes advantage of the USRP’s state-of-the-art RF front end and daughterboards while processing and generating signal data using a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) graphics processing unit. The capability to generate military and multiconstellation codes on a COTS system maximizes scalability, value, and time to market.
