Large LabVIEW projects present some essential development challenges. Though good practices like object orientation and source code control reduce these challenges, using additional free tools helps you solve what remains. At this session, explore tools for four common challenges of large projects: (1) finding all available methods for a class wire, including those of ancestor classes, (2) performing complex build sequences for plug-in architectures based on packed project libraries, (3) discovering and debugging a running actor hierarchy, and (4) conveniently creating actor messages that document the method they invoke and that can be updated after creation.
