Abstract: All critical systems needed to perform tests at the Thermal Test Complex (TTC) are run and monitored by a Process Equipment and Control System (PECS) built with NI software and hardware. In May 2010, NI announced that it would no longer support the FieldPoint modules the TTC used beginning in July 2011 and recommended that the TTC application be migrated to CompactRIO. At this session, explore the efforts involved in the upgrade, including work on software, hardware, documentation, and recommissioning to verify all test cell operations and facility safety systems.
