As aside note, I would warn you that MySQL database connection toolkit annouce in page 37 of the pdf has been released just after NI Week.
You can dowload a trial version through VIPM community edition and find more information here.
Note that the toolkit has been rename to SmartSQLVIEW for MySQL database (more inforamtion)
