Abstract: Taking commercially available hardware and software into extreme military and commercial environments is complex and requires the right stuff from your NI district sales manager. Serco, an NI Alliance Partner with over 100,000 employees worldwide, has successfully deployed more than 80 rugged systems based on NI PXI hardware into harsh environments. Winning the business required far-reaching collaboration with NI UK staff and extensive qualification testing (sometimes to destruction). At this session, explore the challenges of deploying systems for harsh and secure applications, from EMC/environmental testing to security integrity of systems containing NI hardware and software, including locking down Windows and NI TestStand and LabVIEW for security and protection from end users.
