Electrical Engineer
The Position
The Electronics Test Engineer should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least three years assembly design experience and/or electrical bench testing experience. The candidate must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, is a quick learner and be computer literate and proficient using LabView 2011 software, C, C+ programming languages. The candidate should also be team-oriented, reliable and have a positive attitude.
Duties
This position will assist in prioritizing and coordinating jobs that are tested by the lab with other departments and locations, including managing and supervising technicians and operators to perform testing of the components. Additional tasks include the need to be able to take a technical drawing or datasheet schematic and be able to breadboard a basic Integrated Circuit (IC) for testing (analog, digital, and mixed signal components), and understand the appropriate test equipment to measure data from that IC. Upon completion of the IC tests, the Engineer will create a Test Report consisting of test setup conditions and parameters, observations, and assembly of non-automated test data to report findings and results. The processes include upscreen testing, visual inspection, decapsulation, X-Ray, and permanency testing.
