Disconnects controls or constants from their source type definition. If [Shift] is also pressed, disconnects all controls/constants within the selection from their source type definitions recursively.
Follow these instructions to install and use this shortcut:
- Save the attached VI in your <LabVIEW>\resource\dialog\QuickDrop\plugins folder. No LabVIEW restart is required.
- Select one or more controls/indicators/constants in your VI.
- Press Ctrl-Space.
- Press Ctrl-Y. The controls/indicators/constants will be disconnected from their source type definitions.
- If you had pressed Ctrl-Shift-Y instead, all controls/indicators/constants within the selection would be disconnected from their source type definitions recursively.
This shortcut works in LabVIEW 2013 and later.
