Cannot install RFSA drivers nor NI-SCOPE! Installator hangs...

Hi,

I have been trying for a while to install NI RFSA and NI SCOPE in my computer, to use along with RFSA and RFSG PXI modules.

However, on the first time, the installation hanged while was around 8% in progress. Ever since, every time I try to install it does not pass the 0% line.

After trying all types of resets of MSI installer in my computer, I started to think if the problem was really with my computer. Then I tried to install it on a fresh new virtual machine, and the behavior was exactly the same: 8% on the first time, 0% ever other time.

Please, anyone specialized from NI see the attached logs.

Hi Filipe,

Is your OS Windows 7? Which versions are you installing? Do you already have LabVIEW installed in your machine?

Maybe the issue can be from media. Can you try other else installer? Here you can download new RFSA and Scope drivers.

From the log it looks like you're installing to a non-standard root (E:\) on a non-English Windows 10 x64. That should work without any problem so I'm as surprised as you are, but I agree with lferreira. I would try the latest installers first---in case this is a bug that has been fixed already. If that doesn't work, then you can try installing the latest DAQmx installer (this is part of NI-SCOPE) first. If that works, then install the latest NI-SCOPE. If that works, then install the latest NI-RFSA. The reason this sequence is worth trying is that SCOPE and RFSA both include on DAQmx, and it may be that some error occurs in the sequence that would be more apparent using the individual installers.
