HP 8753C in Labview 8.5

Hi, I am new to Labview. In my task, i would like to convert my old HP Basic  that communicate the HP8735C  Network Analyzer and HP 85047A S-Parameter Test box by using Labview. In most simple way, i would like to check how can icommunicate the HP 8735C and HP 85047A to the Labview 8.5 (forgot about the old HP Basic programming). The application is to enable the station to test the S-Parameter and cable losses.

I hace downloaded the driver for the HP8735C from Labview website but i was unable to get any plotting on the screen. How can i configure to make it works. Thanks

Hi ericths,

Thank you for your post.  Have you downloaded the NI-488.2 or NI-VISA drivers yet?  If you haven't, you can find them here.

If you have already downloaded these drivers, you need to take a look in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).  Right click on your GPIB card and select "Scan for Instruments".  This is important because you need to verify that you can see your instruments before you can communicate with them.  I look forward to hearing your response soon.  Have a great day!

Thanks for the reply. Actually i got install both of them already. And i can also found my instrument. By using the driver i was able to control certain function of the HP 8753C. BUt the driver was not able to plot out the graph that view on screen. I still trying to figure out how it could be.
