How to read the data from Basic Stamp II

Hi,
I am using a Sharp GP2D05 IR ranger to measure the distance of CG from the ground on a R/C car under dynamic behaviour. The IR ranger would be connected to a Basic Stamp II and programmed. My question is, how do I get the data from the stamp on to a PC. I mean what format and what would be required to do this. This is the first time I am working on sensors and Stamp and have no background info on it.
Please respond me with any info you might have and any suggestions.
I am concerned with getting the height from the ground for all the time, when the vehicle is under a dynamic behaviour.

Hi Amol,
From my basic knowledge of Basic Stamp II, I used PBasic2 when I programmed it long time back. Are you looking into LabVIEW interfacing with Basic Stamp and something like that? I found this document at parallax.com which you may find useful.
