Scanning speed of PXI-5660 from 100MHz to 2.7GHz at 300kHz resolution

Hi,

Would like to know the scanning speed of PXI-5660 from 100MHz to 2.7GHz at 300kHz resolution.

As in, the time taken for PXI-5660 to scan from 100MHz to 2.7GHz @ 300kHz resolution

• Start @ 100MHz,
• configure, scan @20MHz RT BW
• reconfigure scan @20MHz RT BW
• Stop @2.7GHz

Hi WooYee,

As conversed on the phone yesterday, we tested and found that the scanning takes 3.26 - 3.27 sec.

I'm posting here to share this information with the community.

Please note that the scanning speed is dependent on the processor speed, since the calculation is done in the software.

The above test result was produced by a PXI-8105 controller, with 2GHz Intel Core Duo 2 processor, 1GB (512MB x 2) RAM and LabVIEW 8.5.1.
