Hello,  can I analyse and record broadband signals with BW > 50 MHz (e.g. 1000 MHz ) with PXIe-5663 ?, How can I do?

Xiaowen,

Thank you for posting on the NI Forums. The PXIe-5663 will automatically take care of this for you if you just set the span to a larger value than the Bandwidth is capable of performing the driver will acquire data from one frequency range, then another, and so on. The software will then automatically construct the Power Spectrum for the desired range. Hope this helps.

Depends on the definition of analysis and recording. Broadband spectrum's such as 1GHz would be aquired in "blocks" of 50MHz at a time with dowconverter tuning between different blocks.

So the instantaneous analysis bandwidth is 50MHz max but spectrums (data acquired at different instants for different center frequency of a frequecy block) can be acquired larger than 50MHz.

The modulation analysis bandwidth is 50MHz and the center frequency can be placed > 6 GHz.
