resource name was not specified

hi i am using pxi 1044 with pxi 5660 installed in it . my pxi 1044 is connected to my pc via pxi 8331 (mixi card). the problem i am having is that the shipped demo "5660 demo panel" was working just fine but then due to a power outage my pc restarted and after that when i ran the demo it start giving me the error " this is the application template and cannot be run alone"......

also all the shipped examples like RFSA getting started specturm.vi have also stopped workin and the error is "session cudnt be opened bcuz the digitizer resource name was not specified. specifiy the digitizer resourse name in MAX"..........

help ...any suggestions ? what shd i do ?

Hello nolsqn,

In regards to the 5660 Demo Panel not working, I found a knowledgebase article here that talks about the error you are receiving.  I would try the second solution and see if it doesn't help.  If that doesn't work, the power failure might have corrupted the application such that a reinstall of the driver is necessary.

As for the shipping example question, the 5660 doesn't use the NI-RFSA driver and must be used with the NI-5660 driver.  This includes all of the shipping examples.  For the examples with the 5660, you must specify the traditional DAQ resource number for the 5620 and specify the PXI-5600 device name
