Choice of thermocouple for temperature control with PID controller

Hi,

I want to regulate the temperature of a component in my system (with resistive heating) with a PID controller. I would need to use a thermocouple for feedback. I need assistance with the choice of the type of thermocouple (J, K, T, etc) for temperatures in the range 20 C - 40 C.
