Code Protection

Dear All,

Is it possible to retrieve the code from the EXE. Just like reverse engineering from EXE.

Thanks and Regards

Hello Himanshu,

No it is not possible. One of the main reasons why one would create an exe appliction is to protect/hide the source code from the end user.

Hi Mithilesh,

I agree with your answer. But if you see there is many decompilers software available in the market. The code almost 50 to 60 % you can decomplie by use of these software. There is no protection for the DLL which you are using in the code.

In LabVIEW, there is no utility by which you can "reverse engineer" it completely, I'm curious to know though,

What are these decompiler softwares? Could you list them for me.

Mithilesh
