Connect a cRIO from private in intranet from enterprise

Hello,

I have no problem to connect to the cRIO via MAX in the network environment of my company. I would also like to work at home.

How can I connect from Home into the network environment\intranet of my company to the cRIO having a given IP there.

Is there a way using SSH , putty.exe or plink.exe?

Do I need a VPN tunnel?

I suggest using VPN, since it is more secure and more common to set up.

The only alternative i could think of would be to set up Port forwarding.

Usually IT department wont agree to do this.

If I ask the IT- administrator, he tells me that there is only a nxclient to access the computer.

He does not know how I cann access the cRIO.

Casn you tell me more exactly how to proceed.

If I have a VPN tunnel, I will see the cRIO in my network environment?

Is it all or something else to think of. Can Plink.exe help me? (I don't know what it is for in fact...)
