Am new to control tool box - - anyone know how to obtain Bode Plots, Nyquist plots etc or where in the set of manuals there is an easily understood intro to so doing please ?

Hi,

   I assume you're refering to the Control Design Toolkit?? This includes bode plots etc, given a transfer function, state space description or the poles and zeros.

I've attached an example using a randomly generated transfer function.

Simple bode plots can be acheived without the toolkit e.g.

Basic Nyquist response plots :
