Converting from SCXI to EtherCAT

I'm about to modify my LabVIEW RT system code that used SCXI drivers to EtherCAT drivers. Please share any references or tips!

1. You asked your question in the wrong board.  This board is for ideas of making LabVIEW RT better.  Support questions should be done in the Real-Time Measurement and Control board.  I already asked the moderator to move this thread to there.

2. SCXI and EtherCAT are two completely different architectures.  SCXI just used a simple controller that you talked to through MXI or GPIB.  EtherCAT requires a cRIO that has an EtherCAT port on it.  Maybe you should explain more what it is you are trying to do.
