How to link labview with my DAQ in real time experiment?

Hello fhahmed2,
Welcome on NI forum!
Can you tell us more about what you're doing?
Which kind of board are you using? PCI or PXI board can be use on PC or PXI Controller on which you can run an RT OS. If you are using USB hardware... You'll have some issues, cause USB is clearly a None-RT bus.
Have a good day,
Flo

Hi,
First of all, I just want to make sure we agree on what Real-Time means (no offense 😉 ).
Being RT means that you can garantee that you will be able to do something in a known amount of time with a known jitter.
A usual case is Input=>Do something=>Ouput; more info on RT here.
It does not necessarily means "fast". What is your sampling rate?
Since you are speaking about analysing and not controlling, I'm wondering if you really need an RTOS (or maybe you just want to get rid of Windows for reliability purpose 😉 )
