I am currently using the cFP-RTD-122 Input module, which only supports linearization curves for 100 ohm and 1000 ohm Platinum RTDs. This input module does support measuring resistance directly by choosing a resistance range. I currently have it configured as a 2-wire RTD sensor (with the SENSE terminal short jumpered to the COM terminal ). Can the cFP-RTD-122 support a 3-wire configuration (for the purposes of lead resistance compensation) while measuring resistance directly?

I saw that but it has a phrase “the cfp-122 ignores any configuration of RTD type when a range is selected” Does this mean that it is treated like a two wire RTD when a resistance range is selected?

3rd line will add precision, it is possible this be ignored if there exists a defined range where the resistance value is defined. But, I will like to verify. Let look more information about it.
