[FPGA] DIO & MIO cable specification

Dear All,

For using the FPGA digital and analog outputs on f.ex. the 7833R card it is recommended to use the
SHC-68-68-RMIO and -RDIO cables. However, I can only find the specification for the -EPx cables.

Does anyone know how to find the relevant specifications? I'm in particular interested in the cabling of
the digital lines in the RDIO cable as this may limit the speeds of certain channels, and as there may be cross-
talk between some and I'd like to know which.

Thank you for any help on this matter,
Niels Madsen

Hi,

I found some informations for the RMIO Cable, but you´re right its difficult to search for.

I attached every spec I found in the Zip-File.

To the RDIO-Cable I found this:

The best cable options for connecting the Expansion Chassis to the R Series device is the SHC68-68-RDIO Cable which is specifically designed to cut down noise between the Expansion Chassis and the R Series Device. Other than this, the 0.5 m or 1 m SH68-C68-S cables are also suitable. Any cables other than the ones mentioned above should not be used as they have may have a different pinout or twisted pairs that can potentially introduce cross talk due to the way the wires are twisted.

Hope this helps
