HI all,
I have a cRIO-9039 and we wish to connect a Allied Vision Manta camera directly to it via the Gigabit Ethernet ports.
We see the camera in MAX but has the red check mark in the icon.
from this discussion I understand that in some cases we need IMAQdx 16.0.1.

I have have install RT Vision 16.0.1 but so far the IMAQdx version for the Real-Time environment is still IMAQdx 16.0.0.
Do we need the newer version of IMAQdx or is just a matter of configuration to have the camera connect.
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
I just wanted to confirm that you downloaded and installed Vision Acquisition Software September 2016. This would contain IMAQdx 16.1. You might try downloading and installing that if you haven't done so already.
Also, have you seen the Troubleshooting GigE Vision Cameras KnowledgeBase Article? There is a section specific to the Red X that you mentioned. Have you tried running the Camera Validator listed in that KB?

Hi B. Grey,
thanks for the link.
I did not find it searching the NI Updates,
The Ni Updater service gave me
RT-Vision 16.0.1 from September updates, that only included the IMAQdx 16.0.0 drivers.
The search for the latest updates from NI is not always a predictable experiance.
I will report back to let you know if this update succeeded and what RT components it installed.

Installing VAS version September 2016 that contains the IMAQdx 16.1 drivers resolves the GigE v3.0 camera connection issues.
Too bad the read me and descriptions of the components listed in the installer webpage do not list the drivers and their version numbers contained in the update.
Thanks again for the help.
Michael
