Hi everybody,
for a research project we'd like to acquire measurement data from different types of sensors (IEPE accelerometers, strain gauges). These data shall be the input for a multibody model exported from SIMPACK. Both, the data acqusition and the simulation should be done in real time.
I know that both subsystems - the acqusition and the simulation model - can be incorporated into Matlab/Simulink. Which kind of NI hardware is suitable for our specifications? Do we really need a PXI system with embedded controller unit or can we somehow use the CompactDAQ in combination with a real time PC?
Thanks for your help!

Hello Johl
here you find the list
Hardware Support from Simulink Desktop Real-Time
Normally USB devices will not be used in RT systems. You can do the signal conditioning in the terminal block SCC-2345 or SCC-68.

Thanks for your support, Alexander.
Is it possible to use the SC 2345 in combination with IEPE accelerometers? Those require a constant current as carrier signal.
