Is it possible to synchronize the internal clocks of multiple chassis?

I have a big application coming up that requires me to take a huge number of measurements at varying, runtime user-defined sample rates that need to be transmitted to a central host with a timestamp from the Get Date/Time in Seconds VI.  It will require multiple PXI stations.  Is there a quick, easy way to synchronize the internal clocks to a reasonable degree of accuracy (<1ms)?

Hello Dan,

You could synchronize your PXI chassis using NI Sync cards.  These cards make it easy to send signals to multiple PXI systems with very fast timing and accuracy.  These cards also have drivers for 2000/XP and Real-Time.  One of the newest ones is the NI PCI-6653.

This is only the easiest way to synchronize the chassis.  There are other alternitaves such as time triggered shared variables, but that does not necessarily include a time stamp.
