Hi Allison,
I tried following your directions but after I create the Method Node I try to select the Method and the pop up says that there are none available.
As I had said earlier I have two NI 9401 modules so I tried creating a Method for each. I select Mod4/DIO7:0 and Mod5/DIO7:0 but neither of them have any methods associate with them.
Could this be a setup problem?
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I have attached some screen shots to show you how I was able to select the line direction. What version of LabVIEW are you using? What chassis are you using with your modules?Additionally, have you verified that you are using the FPGA interface with your device?

Hi Allison,
I am using LabVIEW 2010 SP1 but just received 2012 and will bump up to it when I can afford some system down time.
Thanks for the graphics, that makes all the difference! I had been selecting Mod5 | Mod5/DIO7:0, which it allowed me to do but results in there not being any Methods available. When I follow what you show here and select just the second Mod5 I get the same two method option that you show!
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Rob
I currently have the same issue as you. I have upgrade labview 2009sp1 to labview2012sp1 and when I build the application that was running perfectly under labview2009 the FPGA does not respond. It runs well on my development station but when I download the applications on my target and set the RT application to run at startup the FPGA VI does not respond. I have a compact rio 9012 controller and fpga 9102.

Hello Yves,
Since this is a very old forum post, I would suggest creating a new post so that more people will be able to view your issue. In the meantime, I would suggest checking that your Xilinx compile tool is compatible with your newer version of LabVIEW. You can check out the version compatibility in this KB:
