Hi, which software are you going to use mainly? I strongly recommend to use NI VeriStand.

You can easily configure HIL system in VeriStand, cannot in LabVIEW.

There is no good resource to learn NI VeriStand. In the past, I wrote NI VeriStand manual but it's written in Japanese.

The simulation model is developed with Simulink and Trucksim.
