MAX aborts with error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Erro

'After installation of NI-RIO Version 2.1.3 on a PC with LabView 8.2 and a Version of Visual C++ 2005 I get Error Message : Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Programme\NationalInstruments\MAX\NIMax.exe

abnormal program termination.

Even rebooting and reinstallation doesn't help. Are there any missing dlls, known version imcompatibilities? Does anybody else have this problem too?

Hi Brittner,

when did the problem occur, what action did you do before? Did you already try to install the 2.3 NI-RIO driver? You can get the driver from this link. Please tell me whether this solves your problem or it still exists.

Hi, I am experiencing the same error message. I had swapped my PCI-7350 card to verify if the second card is functioning. After swapping back to the orginal PCI-7350, I got the above error when starting MAX. Nothing was changed. I am using MAX v4.5.
