I have recently purchased a FPGA NI PCI/PCIe7842R card with a SCB 68 board for induction motor vector control. Can you help me get started especially with generating PWM signals from my FPGA card? Can i use the SCB 68 for digital output and rig it to an inverter? Also please guide me to links that have examples dealing with motor control using a FPGA card so i may kick off my work soon
Thanks

Hello,
I feel you can refer to the following link about Developing a PWM Interface Using LabVIEW FPGA:

Hope this helps.
Thank You.

Thanks
The link was helpful for the PWM generation... One other question remains as to whether the SCB 68 i have can be used to aquire analog inputs from my motor and also to output PWM signals to the power switches controlling the motor?
Any help on the hardware aspects will be greatly appreciated folks!!!!! Itching to get my setup up and running!

Any luck yet? I plan to do something very similar (R series card + induction motor + analog fron end + angular encoder + 3 x H bridge).
