I'd like to generate and stream the single sine or multi sine waves with same power by using NI5791 streaming sample project.
(equipment : 7966R + NI5791, centre frequency : 2.4GHz)
I generated several waveforms that are same power but diffierent PAPR as shown in attached png file.
And I measured peak voltage of each waveforms by using RF edge detector.
As a result, the peak voltage of waveforms are almost same. I expected there are big gap of peak voltages among the waveforms because generated baseband signal has a big differnce of peak voltage.
Does anyone can explain why NI 5791 output a same peak voltage from different waveforms?
And how can I fix the equipment generate an output with high PAPR?
