NI Softmotion with LabVIEW 8.5

I'm using Softmotion for some stepper control on a cRIO.  Now that I've upgraded to 8.5 it does not appear to have the right version of files.  I see one reference, only one mind you, to Softmotion 2.1.  Is this released?  Is it free for owners of 2.0?  Did you fix the fact that you can't build an application directly?

Hello Chris,

There is an NI SoftMotion 2.1 Development Module for LabVIEW; however, the product is not currently advertised online.  You can access the ReadMe for SoftMotion 2.1 via this KB, but you will need to call (888) 280-7645 for information on how to order the product.

You may also want to know that the NI SoftMotion 2.1 Development Module for LabVIEW (part number 779032-09) is required for use with LabVIEW 8.5.  The upgrade from the NI SoftMotion 2.0 Development Module for LabVIEW to the NI SoftMotion 2.1 Development Module for LabVIEW is a free upgrade.  The upgrade part number is 850032D-09 if you need to add SSP or 850032D-93 if you already have SSP for the NI SoftMotion Development Module for LabVIEW.  Please call your inside sales representative to receive your upgrade.
