OPEN LOOP DC MOTOR CONTROL

Hello,

We are doing a project on mecanum wheeled robot.Presently,We are trying to control the speed and direction of rotation of DC motor in open loop.We are using the 9505 module.We have tried an example FPGA vi.We have applied a voltage of 12V to the 9505 module for the motor.After running the vi,we got a voltage of around 6V between the +M and C(Common) terminals.We have connected the motor between +M and -M terminals and tried to drive the motor.But we found that the voltage difference between the terminals is 0.So we connected the motor between +M and C of the 9505 module.

As soon as we have connected it,the voltage dropped to 0V and the motor is not moving.We have ensured that there is no short circuit.Please kindly guide us in doing our project.Thanks in advance.
